My first project idea is based on the future effects of the current refugee crisis. Right now, the world, especially Europe, are kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. There are a lot of concerns about bringing migrants into a country, and most countries lack the capacity and resources to handle a large influx of refugees. However, with climate change on the rise, the future will only bring more refugees to our shores. So, I wanted to look at how the future will be shaped by this ongoing refugee crisis, how major countries like ours can choose to handle it, and the effects of those choices.
The refugee crisis will shape the future of the Western world. The faces and languages of many cultures and countries will grow more diverse. The population will grow, cultural aspects like food and religion will also change.
Currently, The West has a pretty lackluster approach to the global refugee crisis, but in the end, the crisis must be addressed. These refugees aren't’ going anywhere. What are some possible ways to address the crisis? A good place to start is the causes of displacement; problems like terrorism, hunger, failing infrastructure, and poor standards of living. These people are leaving their homes because to stay would mean death and depravity, helping them ensures mutual survival.
